As breeders of this magnificent breed, the Biewer Terrier, we MUST hold OURSELVES to high standards as their health and wellbeing are directly held in OUR hands and this is something that we take VERY seriously.  We want the very best for our beloved family members and all of our future litters.  All of our parents and babies see a reproductive veterinarian specialist in Colorado Springs, Colorado so they will have the best care and access to all up to date services for the best outcomes possible.  

PARENT HEALTH TESTING

-Serum Bile acid testing to rule out liver shunt disease, this is done by a blood test with fasting.  This test also rules out any other possible organ issues through normal lab values.

-DNA/genetic testing for genetic defects, this is important to rule out anything parents could pass along to puppies.

-OFA patella 
-OFA Eye
-OFA Cardiac exam

function.
