WHAT do I need a puppy from Champion lines for????????
Elegant Title

So, let's put it THIS way...
Do you like getting what you paid for? If you purchased a pair of sunglasses that were labeled "Gucci" and paid a fair price for this pair of eye wear, wouldn't you want what you paid for?? Well, it's kind of the same thing with a puppy!
A champion line indicates the dog was put through conformation trials, which means, a judge awarded points and majors to the dog indicating the dog conforms closely to the written standard for the breed. SO WHAT exactly is the judge looking at?
-Correct markings and colors on coat and where they are placed on the body of the dog.
-Ear set, are they too big?
-Eye color for correct coloring
-Tail set for carriage
-Quality of the coat
-Teeth for aligned scissor bite
-Gait/movement of the dog- this indicates good structure of back, shoulder placement, chest depth, correct mechanics of knees/hips
-Temperament when approaching the dog and the dogs reaction.
So if you have a poor alignment of teeth and crooked bite, look forward to possible dental issues in the future with a puppy!
Poor topline/crooked back- look forward to possible orthopedic issues, not just in spine but hips and knees as this issue throws off alignment of structure and affects walking/running/playing as the puppy ages into adulthood.
These are just a few elements that are being evaluated and if any of these values are incorrect the dog does not score or could be disqualified. In short, a poor bite, a crooked back/topline or improper colors throughout the coat can indicate poor breeding and not a good beginning for any litter of puppies. We want to protect and preserve the pure and correct breeding of Biewer Terriers and ethical breeders should always be advocates for their breeds.
So getting back to the 'Gucci' sunglasses..... you wouldn't purchase a pair with one lens bigger than the other with pink and orange polka dots...would you??
